OK, there is a giant Jesus statue being built on I-75 between Dayton (here) and Cincinnati! WTF?

This is horrible!!! First, it's already causing problems on the highway. And that highway has enough problems already. Second, EWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!
Really do they believe that people will see the giant Jesus by the side of the road, be overcome with the spirit, and convert? Of course, this will all be before the 24 car pile up. Cause, once you feel the spirit, there's no need to be careful anymore.
So they think that Jesus is up there thinking, "Wow, that's really cool. Too bad my arms are out of proportion"?
And how much did this cost? Probably enough to inoculate a small country. Hell, give the money to people in the Dayton/Cincinnati area! There is plenty that needs help around here!
The Solid Rock Church http://www.solidrockchurch.org/ has a website that is reminiscent of an infomercial. These are the big hair, Mary Kay, white fucking teeth Jesus freaks from Hell. They really are an insult to my religion. And I think that they are the reason that Christians are getting such a bad rep.
