Ahhh, Freak Out!!!
To add to my whining about my head...
I'm on day 6 of a good one. I called in sick last Wed. Worked Thurs. Did party prep while Cam was in school on Friday, by the time I got home I wanted to die.
There wasn't room in the fridge for the party stuff, so I had to take out a bunch of old leftovers. I had to leave them by the sink. I just had to lay down.
I took a Darvocet since it was so bad. And... nada! The Cheadle's were going to come by for dinner and to hang out with me while Jason and a couple of his work buds went to a stripclub (jim is getting married in a week). I had to call and cancel. The kids were great at helping me get them to bed. I took another Darvocet, and watched Napoleon Dynamite and wrapped a few presents. Then went back to my couch and watched more Charmed episodes. Charmed is what entertains me through these.
Stinky man got home and took a shower (smokey smell!). We went to bed. Next day, wasn't any better. And that's when the freak out happened.
First, Jason tells me that when I clean out the fridge I shouldn't leave the food out. Ummmm, yeah, I know that. So, I told him that if I could have, I would have. Then he disappears for a bit.
We were having our annual holiday party that night. I was trying to get too much done. If I'd been ok on Friday I would have gotten the majority of it done then. But, I wasn't. Nor was I ok on Sat. So, I work, with my head feeling horrible with every move I made. Then, I go upstairs to get a towel and ask Jase what he's doing. He's playing EQ2 to get his level.
GRRRRRRRR. Had he told me he was going to play and get away from the kids, I would have been fine. But, he didn't. And all my resentment was coming out fast.
I threw a few things around in the kitchen. Really wanted to break something, but then I'd have to clean it. Mostly, it was the pressure of always pretending to be ok that was getting to me. I do it for everyone. I think because I hate the whining.
So, when that man of mine came downstairs, I lost it. 100% crazy crying nutso lost it. Because of the pain, the pretending, the frustration...
Jason sent me up to bed. I had not good thoughts there. Really, a person can only take so much pain. So, I covered up and tried to sleep.
Drugs took hold after that, I took a shower, got pretty and helped finish up the party stuff. Again, tried to pretend that all was fine. Even though I did talk a bit about it to Amanda and Lisa.
Party was good, and I had a couple of babies to hold on to. Amanda's niece just doesn't make a sound. And Alexander is just the cutest little baby boy evah!
After the party was even better. Our friend, Patrick stayed the night. We don't see him often, so we talked with him a while. Then went upstairs to bed... Sex helps me forget about the head for a bit.
Sun was really bad. I couldn't move. Mom had also stayed the night, sine she wasn't going to be in town for Christmas, we had ours with her early. I finally crawled down for it around noonish. Then crawled back up. I got up around 7ish for some water and a little food. Watched that Charmed (now i'm done with what I had recorded). I took 2 Darvocet, and that actually helped.
Again... I HATE taking meds. I really hate that it takes 2 narcotics to shake off a headache. Not that they took it completely out, it was still there, but I could move.
So, that's my choppy new migraine story. I'm really a better writer than these turn out. But, that's ok... we'll all get over it.
